Studies!

I’m so excited to introduce a new gallery! It’s called “Studies,” and you can take a look HERE!

So, about a year back I started painting little scenes that inspired me. I’d use canvas panels, small canvases, or sometimes simply paint over old projects that I sorta felt “meh” about — and try to leave perfectionism behind. The result? SO. MUCH. FUN. Now I’ve decided to give some of these studies a gallery all their own!

I think it can be easy to take art — or life! — a tad too seriously. These paintings have been one way to remind myself to play more.

What helps you remember to play? Whatever it is, I hope you can take time out of your busy week to “study” it 🙂
